Welcome From Dish Network Family!

Good Monday morning to everyone! This is the maiden post for the Dish Network Family blog. I'd like to introduce our company and the family behind the company. My name is Danielle Goodnight and I own Goodnight Satellite with my husband, Steve Goodnight. He is the left brain... he manages all of the technical things for the company. If you want to know how something works or how to fix things, he's your guy. I am the right brain... I manage all of the creative things, like the sales and marketing (the fun stuff in my opinion!) I'll be writing this blog, but I'll pull Steve in from time to time to talk about some techie stuff.

So, as you can see from our intro at the top of the blog, I'd like to chat about a variety of things around here. This will be our informal source of communication to chat with our customers about our products: DISH Network, WildBlue internet and MotoSat. We'll make company announcements, share information, answer questions and hopefully also talk about some fun things, as well.

So, what does our company do, exactly? Well, our tag line is "connecting you with each other and with the world". In non-creative speak, we are a satellite communications company. We sell DISH Network television, WildBlue high speed internet and MotoSat products for RVs and mobile offices. Our customers are consumers and businesses. Through satellite technology, we can connect virtually anyone, anywhere!

A little more about us, personally... Steve is an electrical engineer and is from Nebraska. You'll see him coming with his Husker "N" on his front license plate. I was born in Clovis, New Mexico and then wandered around the world as I grew up in a military family. I studied economics at Rutgers University in New Jersey. Steve and I were married and started our family in Nebraska. My parents and one of my siblings settled in Albuquerque, so after several years of visiting, the Land of Enchantment lured us to become full time residents. We love the natural beauty and culture of the state and decided that this is the perfect place to raise our four active little boys. We came out here with the intention of starting a business. I previously did marketing consulting and owned a maternity shop, so we combined my business background with Steve's engineering background and voila, Goodnight Satellite was born! (Well, there was a little more to it, but you get the gist!)

So, that is a little about us! I'm looking forward to getting to know you, our customers, as well!

Very professional service. They are such nice people! Steve did two installations for us - one in Albuquerque and another in Angel Fire.
